School's Kho-Kho team went to Red Rose School, Lambakheda for CBSE cluster and played quarter final. Our Student's really played well & we are proud of their active participation.
Allwin Manis of Class 11th of Christ Memorial Hr. Sec. School has selected in SGFI Football Championship - 2018. Now he is going with Football District team under-17 age group at Raisen.
Jesmin Joseph of Class 8th of Christ Memorial Hr. Sec. School got Gold medal in School Division Karate Championship and selected for 64th SGFI State Karate Championship - 2018. Special thanks to Chief Instructor Sensei Vijay Shah, SKDA President Shihan Amitabh Shrivastava, Secretary Shihan V.P. Singh Rana sir. Now she is going for State level karate Championship in Indore from 15.08.18 to 16.08.18.
To inculcate responsibility among the students and to create respect for our constitution, to make them worthy citizens and future leaders, our school creates panel of students by giving them certain responsibilities and rights as well as duties. As per every year this year also students were nominated for different heads like head boy, head girl, vice head boy, vice head girl, different house head, sports head and volunteers. The students were given 3 days for conversing and on 20.08.2018 the election was held. Ballot paper was prepared along with ballot boxes. Complete freedom was given to the students to choose their candidate, even teachers voted for them.
It is said that a man without creativity is a man without heart. Creative people can mould gold out of mud that is why we always praise to the God, who is a creator. To make students more creative , School works head by giving different activities teaching as well as keeping competition. On Saturday (21.07.18) was the activity day from class 1st to 10th. The students were given activity according to their grade and age. Class 1 and 2 – Paper boat making activity, class 3 to 5 – Book mark making, class 6 to 8- Paper bag making and 9 and 10 – Cover page making . All the students enthusiastically participated and showed their creativity.
SDOP and TI of Sant Hirdaram Nagar made aware the
students regarding increased rate in crime. They said that
“increasing rate of crime due to the drugs are taken by the
people in the form of wine and other things.” Chairman Dr.
Manis K. Mathews appreciated the initiative taken by police
department to aware the children right at the tender age.
The vote of thanks was given by the Vice Principal of school.
Students beautifully utilized their summer holidays. Some of the
students joined Cricket Academy. One of the students
Saksham Jain won many trophies like MAN OF THE MATCH, BEST BATSMAN, and RUNNER-UP.For that school also appreciated him in assembly.
International Yoga Day is celebrated in the school in full-fledged way. Some of the students of 9 to 12 classes were sent to CM house for State-level Yoga Day celebrations. In the school all the students performed like Todasana, Brikshasasna, Triconasana, Ardhakrasana along with Surya Namaskar. Vice Principal enlightened the students with importance of yoga in daily life in this special day and thanked management and principal for celebrating with full enthusiasm and taking the step ahead to make healthy.
CMS students went to join 10 days NCC camp on 14th June – 23 rd June at
Bansal College, (Raisen road) for practicing Yoga, due to International
Yoga day and to get more knowledge about National Cadet Corps,
learning different activities to make girls bold and strong. This camp will
make them discipline, punctual and active, which will enhance their skills.
This year we celebrated farewell party of our senior most teacher Ms. Neelima Mishra. She had been working here for last 37 years. She had so many qualities in her. We can say her bouquet of qualities. She followed her all the responsibilities as a good teacher with full commitment. It was very sad moment that we are losing our most senior teacher of our school. During farewell our respected Chairman and Respected principal ma’am wish her good luck for her future. Chairman and Principal awarded her token of love as a school memento. School organized lavish lunch on her farewell. Teacher bade goodbye to the senior teacher and special prayer by Mr. Lucas was done blessings wherever she will be living healthy, prosperous and happy life.
On the last day before summer vacations , School organized an Annual meet of Christ Memorial Group of Schools, where all the teachers were all 4 branches were present . Respected Chairman Mr. Manis K. Methews and respected principal of
Bairagarh, Gandhinagar, Lalghati and Vice Principal of Bairagarh were the motivators of the meeting. Meeting was started by the principal of Bairagarh. Who instructed to introspects and make a aim for the future session . Principal of Gandhinagar Mrs. Kalpana Singh suggested tips to handle students. Principal of Lalghati Mr. Anand Wadhwani Infosys on planning before going to the class. Vice principal of Bairagarh Mr. P. Daryani spoke that teachers need soft skills to trained children and become example to the children. To make meeting interactive chance was given to to teachers to speak or suggest their views. Many teachers kept their views which were silently heard by the panel. Head of the family Chairman Dr. Manis K. Methews motivated the teachers by praising and appreciating by their hard work and advised them to update themselves with new technologies and be the real master. Meeting was ended by the invitation of the Chairman for lavish lunch and everybody said goodbye for summer vacation.
